What is the meaning of "ero" in Japanese?

Ero is short form of Eros (エロス).

This word appeared late in Japan. It seemed エロスcould only be read in academic writings. People have invented a hybrid adjective Eroi (エロい), denoting erotic. Ir became popular among civil.

Thus エロ can be noun and adjective.

Why are so many US conservatives in this day and age still against racial mixing? They won't say it in public, but they are still against the mixing between Blacks and whites? Why?
